Announcing: Family of Woodstock Turkey Trot
Join Your Friends, Neighbors, and Other Locals
Family of Woodstock’s First 5k Turkey Trot!
When: Thanksgiving Day, November 27
Time: 9 am Start | Day-of Registration 7:30-8:30 am
Where: Pre-race gathering: Municipal Parking behind Family of Woodstock | Race Start: Woodstock Rec. Field
Why: Raise funds for Family’s 24-hour Emergency Hotline!
Our team has designed a fun and scenic 5K route that winds through our great little town, finishing with a rewarding climb up Mill Hill to the Village Green. It’s a challenge, but one that every runner (and walker!) can absolutely conquer.
You’ll be well-supported every step of the way, with enthusiastic volunteers, clear signage to guide you, and assistance from the town to keep the course safe and enjoyable.
Race Timing
And yes—it will be timed! We’ve partnered with the same professional company that times national triathlons to provide official chip timing through runner bibs.
Results will be posted quickly and shared with local media.
While this may be the first Turkey Trot in Woodstock, Family has successfully organized the New Paltz Turkey Trot for more than 20 years. We’ve worked closely with them to make sure everything is in place for a smooth and memorable race.
