Family at the Woodstock Farm Festival
“And we’ve got to get ourselves back to the garden.”
– Joni Mitchell, “Woodstock”
While not exactly a garden, the Woodstock Farm Festival is a celebration of the earth’s bounty, spotlighting local farms, growers, and producers who create nourishment for the body and soul. Family of Woodstock will be an active participant each week, providing information about the 25+ programs we offer throughout Ulster County. In a case of “what goes around, comes around,” the Woodstock Farm Festival, located in the grassy field behind Bread Alone and other Mill Hill Road businesses, is just a stone’s throw from the Family of Woodstock walk-in center. The center houses the original Family program, as well as our 24-hour emergency hotline (and text line), which has been operating continuously since 1970.
