This is event is free to the public thanks to our sponsors, including the HealthAlliance Hospitals, members of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth).

This year’s event is being held in memory of Sandra Thompson-Hopgood, co-founder of Midtown Make a Difference Day and long-time community activist.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Volunteers will be needed to assist with setup, cleanup, serving food, traffic control and more!

JOBS/SHIFTS:
Setup (volunteers 2 each area)
Food 9:30 – 11:00
Street 8:00 – 10:00

Clean up (volunteers 3 each area)
Food 3:00 – 4:30
Street 3:00 – 4:30

Traffic Control (volunteers 2 each shift)
Franklin & Broadway
8:30 – 10:45
10:30 – 12:45
12:30 – 3:00

Franklin & Prospect
8:30 – 10:30

Serve Food (volunteers 4-5)
11:30 – 2:15

Other Jobs:
Monitor hoop area (2 adult volunteers)
Teach/assist Double Dutch jump roping (1 adult volunteer)

DETAILS:
Free parking on any nearby streets such as Broadway and Prospect; breaks provided

PERKS:
Free food/drinks throughout the day; early coffee, tea and bagels; later grilled food, salad, watermelon
