The stigma surrounding mental health challenges often prevents people from seeking help or even acknowledging that they need help. And if they do want help, they often don’t know where to turn.

Trainings like Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) help communities to address mental health challenges by reducing stigma, increasing mental health literacy and teaching an action plan to aid those who are experiencing symptoms.

Our next MHFA training will be held on 2 Thursdays June 16th and 23rd at Christ Lutheran Church on Mill Hill Rd in Woodstock.

This training is being offered by Family of Woodstock for our community. To register, please call the hotline at 679-2485.
