Administrative Manager – Finance

Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining several program ledgers. Prepares appropriate vouchers, billings, subsidiaries and reports that may or may not be connected to those specific ledgers. Maintains files for all assigned programs. Responsible for reconciling special savings accounts pertaining to the assigned ledgers on a monthly basis and checking special savings transfers for accuracy.  Various errands are shared between staff including going to the post office, banking and other miscellaneous errands.  Maintenance of central files and the filing of “unibills.” Participates in the creation and update of the procedures manual.  

Additional Responsibilities

All finance staff are expected to participate in planning activities within the department as well as among programs and with outside organizations as requested by the Team Leader of Finance.  Additional primary and/or non-essential responsibilities may be added at the discretion of the Team Leader of Finance. Job descriptions will be reviewed periodically and may be revised as appropriate.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • BA, AAS or two years’ experience in a fiscal office environment. 
  • Computer and MS Office proficiency. 
  • Experience with Google products, calculator and typewriter.

Hours and Pay Rate

This is a full-time, 40-hours per week position based at Family of Woodstock’s Kingston office at 31 Albany Ave.

The rate of pay for this position is: $18.67/hour and includes agency-funded health, dental, and vision insurance, generous paid time off and other benefits.
