SAVE SOMEONE FROM AN OVERDOSE
One timely administration of Naloxone (AKA Narcan) can save someone’s life if they have overdosed on prescription opiod medications, or street drugs like heroin or morphine. It gives a person a chance at life. Previously only available from emergency medical personnel, Narcan is now available in New York State for use by anyone who wishes to take the 2.5 hour training.

Family of Woodstock’s Hotline is offering this Narcan Administration Training free of charge on Thursday, January 28, from 6PM to 8:30PM at the Mescal Hornbeck Community Center. Pre-registration is required. 17 and 18 year olds may take the training if accompanied by a parent or guardian. The training is done in small groups so space is limited. RSVP before Thursday, January 21 by calling Family of Woodstock at 845-679-2485
