Family Domestic Violence Services & The Washbourne House will present its first annual Strides for Strength, taking place at Rotary Park in Kingston on September 28th from 11am to 1pm, featuring a walk along the Hudson River and activities for children including fall fun races, face painting, and games.
Adult T-shirts $25, Children 12 and under are $15. T-shirts are available on a first come basis. Proceeds from this year’s walk will be used to assist survivors with financial barriers to leaving unsafe situations, through the Maritza Ovsak Memorial Fund. Family Domestic Violence Services & The Washbourne House Domestic Violence shelter provide comprehensive trauma informed care to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.
