On Saturday, May 14, 2016, in conjunction with the National Association of Letter Carriers and the United States Postal Service, the United Way of Ulster County, and the Kingston Post Office are coordinating a countywide food drive to collect food for local food pantries, including Family’s food pantries and shelters.
You can help “Stamp Out Hunger” with the following non-perishable food items:
pasta – dry milk – peanut butter – cereal – rice – canned fruit – canned meats – vegetables – soup – stew – snacks – nuts – crackers – condiments – evaporated/condensed milk
Anything that a family might use to create a complete meal. Please no glass jars, expired items, or open packages.
You can help “Stamp Out Hunger” by leaving non-perishable food items for your letter carrier on Saturday, May 14th or by bringing donations to your local food pantry.
