Join us for an evening of painting & relaxation, to help us to raise money to support Child Care Connections, a program of Family of Woodstock. Child Care Connections is a child care resource and referral agency serving Ulster, Columbia and Greene Counties. Child Care Connections services include:
– Recruiting, training & providing technical assistance to child care programs.
– Sponsoring family child care programs who participate on Child and Adult Food Program
– Maintaining most comprehensive list of child care resources available in the community
– Responding to concerns and complaints concerning child care programs
– Offering parent education and parenting resources
– Offering parents referrals for legal child care.
– All of the Child Care Connections’ services are free of charge, with the exception of some low cost training for child care programs.
Child Care Connections staff works closely with public and business representatives to foster a public/private partnership that addresses the current lack of available, affordable, quality child care. Child Care Connections is dedicated to keep child care programs, parents and communities connected.
Join us October 16th from 7-9pm at the Port Ewen Fire Department Headquarters.
We have an amazing local artist, that will give you a step-by-step lesson on how to recreate a piece of art that you can call your own. Absolutely no artistic experience is necessary!! The class is designed for everyone at every skill level. Tickets are $45. Ticket includes 1 complimentary Glass of Wine. Light appetizers and non alcoholic beverages will also be provided by the Child Care Connections.
