Independent Living Program

Life Skills WorkshopsThe program works with youth in foster care ages 14-21 both one-on-one and in groups to further their Independent Living Skills. Some of the most common areas worked on are college admission, driver’s license and transportation, budgeting & employment. In addition, the program exposes these youth to cultural experiences they do not have access to otherwise. Some of these include: Six Flags, the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, a professional baseball game, NYC for the day and other day trips in the area.
