Congregation Emanuel of the Hudson Valley, partnering with Family of Woodstock, is hosting our Second Annual Christmas Feast, held once again from 12pm – 3pm at our Kingston congregation (243 Albany Ave), is designed for those in the Kingston community and beyond who would not otherwise have the opportunity to have a special meal on Christmas.

We plan to serve an anticipated 250 guests a warm meal of turkey/stuffing/cranberry sauce, smoked salmon, rice and beans, multiple side dishes (corn, green beans, roasted potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc.), bread and rolls, desserts (especially pumpkin and apple pies), and beverages. Many local businesses, from Bread Alone to Boices Dairy, from Hanaford’s to Health and Nutrition Center, are providing food donations. Local professional musicians will be entertaining us with upbeat danceable music. We’ll have dozens of children’s gifts (thanks to People’s Place), Santa Claus at the temple, and great door prizes for men and women. Most of all we’ll have abundant helpings of kindness and holiday spirit. Last year’s coverage:
