HELP STOP FOOD WASTE!
Enjoy a FREE lunch at the Walkway Over the Hudson made from top quality produce that would have otherwise gone to waste. Learn more about Feeding the Hudson Valley’s efforts to reduce food waste and provide more food to people who are hungry. Feeding the Hudson Valley is a celebration of positive solutions to the issue of food waste. In addition to a free lunch, the event will include live music, expert speakers, local chef demonstrations, educational activities and resources to create awareness about food waste, food recovery, food waste prevention and feeding hungry people, not landfills.
Volunteers needed for the 2nd Feeding the Hudson Valley to be held on Saturday October 7, 2017, 11am-3pm at the Walkway Over the Hudson. We will also need volunteers the week before the event to help us prepare the free feast. Please sign up to volunteer for Feeding the Hudson Valley to help us create our second successful event.
