January 23rd-February 6th

In January 2019, the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) stated that most recipients of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits would receive their full February benefits early, due to the ongoing partial federal government shutdown. While the long-term impact on SNAP benefits due to the partial federal government shutdown remains unclear, Family of Woodstock, Inc. (Family) is preparing to respond to potential increased needs among visitors of its local food pantries throughout Ulster County. The agency will be hosting a County-wide food drive beginning on January 23rd through February 6th at its four walk-in centers in Woodstock, New Paltz, Ellenville and Kingston.
