It can be difficult to handle the routine care giving needs of infants and toddlers and
also be available to guide them through the ins and outs of successful play with a room
full of their peers. Many teachers find themselves wishing for one more grown up in the
room to help children find and settle into play experience. In this training we will look
at ways to develop a classroom so that the environment encourages engagement. Each
area of the classroom can “call out” and “invite” a child to come explore at a time when
the teacher may not be available to suggest it. This is a Make and Take Training. Come
play and learn with us… your are invited!
