Several times during the year the Washbourne House will have specific drives for specific needs, the holidays and back to school. Lists will be posted along with donation spots.
Currently, thanks to an anonymous donor we will be sending four children to sleep away summer camp at Frost Valley YMCA. We believe that this experience will be life changing for these children.
“Growing up in a family where there was domestic violence, “Sylvia” felt very isolated and unable to take part in her community, She was virtually robbed of her childhood. At Frost Valley YMCA, there is an emphasis on developing confidence, values like inclusion and diversity are nurtured. She will be able to set out again – to make friends and find her self-worth.”
We are hoping that our supporters in the community will help us buy the supplies they need.
