Community Dinner + Conversation:
Break Bread with Your Neighbors

All are invited to a free, family-friendly farm-to-table dinner in Bethanny Hall of Old Dutch Church, Kingston, Saturday May 20th, 2017, from 5-8pm.

Break bread with your neighbors while engaging in conversation about access to healthful food choices, how to incorporate cooking into a hectic life, and ways to support/improve school lunch programs. Leave knowing who the Kingston-area nutrition resources are, what they offer, and how to contact them.

Phoenicia Diner Chef/Partner Chris Bradley will cook a delicious meal of winter squash soup and bread, salad, and polenta cake stew sourced from Hudson Valley and Catskills farms and food businesses.

Entertainmment provided by the Percussion Orchestra of Kingston (POOK) and Energy dance troop. Children are welcome!

The Community Dinner & Conversation is part of O+ Festival’s Educate and Activate series, which is underwritten by a grant from My Health Quest.

Dinner partners include Center for Creative Education – Arts with a purpose, Family of Woodstock Inc, Hudson Valley Current, Kingston YMCA Farm Project and UlsterCorps.
