All are invited to a free, family-friendly farm-to-table dinner in Bethanny Hall of Old Dutch Church, Kingston, Saturday May 20th, 2017, from 5-8pm.
Break bread with your neighbors while engaging in conversation about access to healthful food choices, how to incorporate cooking into a hectic life, and ways to support/improve school lunch programs. Leave knowing who the Kingston-area nutrition resources are, what they offer, and how to contact them.
Phoenicia Diner Chef/Partner Chris Bradley will cook a delicious meal of winter squash soup and bread, salad, and polenta cake stew sourced from Hudson Valley and Catskills farms and food businesses.
The Community Dinner & Conversation is part of O+ Festival’s Educate and Activate series, which is underwritten by a grant from My Health Quest.
Dinner partners include Center for Creative Education – Arts with a purpose, Family of Woodstock Inc, Hudson Valley Current, Kingston YMCA Farm Project and UlsterCorps.
