ABOUT OUR SERVICES
Becoming a Child Care Provider:
We regulate the family day care programs and the school age child care programs in Columbia, Greene & Ulster Counties. This includes processing new and renewal applications , monitoring and inspecting programs, investigating complaints, and offering professional training and technical assistance.
The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP):
Is a Federally funded program administered by the New York State Department of Health and sponsored by the Child Care Connections of Columbia, Greene & Ulster Counties. CACFP reimburses registered, licensed and legally exempt child care providers for serving meals and snacks which meet the USDA guidelines to the children in their care.
Training:
Child Care Connection offers a vast array of workshops and technical assistance for early care and education professionals to help them increase their skills and the quality of care they provide to children.
